TOUCH is the final song shared by @james__righton as his new album is released in full today.
 He writes: “Musically the song started at the ABBA studio in Stockholm. I’d spent a few weeks working with Benny on the Voyage project and one evening after the session I asked if I could play on his GX 1 synthesiser. A very rare synth and famous for being used on ‘Songs In the Key of Life’ among many other great records from the 70’s. I recorded an hour long jam on the GX1, put it on a hard drive and flew back home. During lockdown and after writing the words to ‘Touch’ I opened up this folder and used a part of this GX 1 jam to create the music for ‘Touch’. My second child was only a few months old when I wrote the song ‘Touch’, a time when we spent every day together. The world stopped, life slowed down and we were able to be present without the distraction of the outside world.” JIM, I’M STILL HERE is out today.
