🥥 my favorite spots on oahu from this trip home (in order of appearance) : @leahihealth808 (kaimuki) : healthy smoothies and veggie options. the surfer bowl with kale is my go-to! @downtoearthhi (kailua) : snacks, bulk dried fruit and the best to-go foods & hot/cold food bar. don’t skip the dried apple bananas, golden berries, mock chicken salad (curry and regular) and the peanut butter carob balls! @waiaholepoifactory (kaneohe) : fresh, warm kulolo. i get it plain, without the ice cream. @asatofamily (honolulu) : the li hing flavors (regular and float) take me back to my childhood. @islandsnowhawaii (kailua) : best shaved ice. the all natural flavors are the way to go plus a snow cap @chadlouscoffee (kailua) : strong, good coffee and poi banana bread @kbaybros.ice (kaneohe) : fresh poké and rice with furikake. @kualoaranch (kaneohe) : açaí bowls and great local grown market not pictured and not because they are less favorited, i just didn’t take a snap : @kalapawai_hawaii (kailua beach) : coffees and sandwiches for walking the beach. also, great for souvenir mugs and sunscreen! i grew up going here so it’s my nostalgic childhood spot. @naluhealthbar (ward) : açaí bowls and salads @wholefoods (kahala) : best hot/cold bar with tons of lunch options @goendiningandbar (kailua) : fun, sit down dinner for the family. i ordered the crispy brussels & cauliflower, goen greens 2.0 and ahi tataki both times we went there. the halo halo dessert is incredible too! @thecurbkaimuki (kaimuki): good, strong, solid coffee every time @kayastorehawaii (hauula) : best fresh maki sushi, mochi & snacks for a day at the north shore @wholesaleunlimitedhi (all locations) : hawaii snacks like li hing ginger, arare etc. if you want more specific recommendations, please ask me! 🌴
