It was an absolute pleasure to be invited to Abbey Road Studios last week to provide a playback system for the UK preview of the new stereo mixes of, The Beatles, Revolver. Key to the new mixes is de-mixing technology developed by Peter Jackson's WingNut Films, allowing individual parts to be extracted from the analogue tapes.
