#Route66 is at the core of American driving history. Fully paved by 1938, it passes through eight states across 2400 miles. It is home to many small businesses and ingrained within American film and pop culture. As the movie "Cars" depicts - it has been bypassed by modern highways - but it does live on, preserved in time. @mobil1 is looking to help and make Route 66 a National Historic Trail - and revive local economies. #mobil1 is aiming to get 66,000 signatures to show support and by designating it as a National Historic Trail.
