This month, I implore you to take the time to learn about ableism and consider ways to become a better Ally to disabled people. Ableism : discrimination in favor of “able-bodied” people. At any given time in life, one can become disabled. So it’s important that ALL people use theirs voices and their privilege, to ensure that this world is accessible and equitable to people with all varying abilities.
