🍸The Martini🍸 Arguably the most classic, sophisticated cocktail, which can make ordering one at a bar pretty intimidating 🫣 but we’re here to guide you through it! 🍸 Gin or Vodka? - Now obviously we prefer gin, but a martini with either spirit can be a treat. With vodka, you’ll get a very clean & neutral taste with a hint of sharpness on the tongue. With gin, you’ll be able to fully appreciate the botanicals with a spotlight on their earthy and citric notes. And with SAJ Gin in particular, you’ll get a lovely floral flavor like no other 😉 🍸 Wet or Dry - Probably the most confusing ingredient is the dry vermouth. How much you put in the cocktail defines how “wet” or “dry” the martini will be. Think of it this way: - Wet = more vermouth - Dry = less vermouth - Bone dry = no vermouth at all - 50/50 = half vermouth + half spirit of choice 🍸 Shaken or Stirred - James Bond had his preference and you’ll have yours! Shaking a martini will dilute it more and make it extra cold and refreshing, while stirring it will add less water to the cocktail and leave you with a silkier, bolder finish. Either method is fine, it really just depends on what you like! We hope you enjoyed this little cocktail lesson. And if you’ve never had a martini below, we hope your first one will be made with SAJ! ✨Cheers!✨ #martini #gin #martinitime #classiccocktails #bar #bartender #bartending
