Many of you know I chose to keep my breast cancer diagnosis private at the time. It was something I needed to navigate quietly with my loved ones. But, I always said that when I was ready I would share my story. Now as we approach Breast Cancer Awareness month and almost one year since I first opened up to you - I'll be telling my story soon, not only to reflect on my own journey but to raise awareness, encourage early checks and hopefully give strength to anyone walking a similar path.
