Balaton Bike Derby - a gravel bike race around Lake Balaton, organized by @klnd_eu Lake Balaton is one of Hungary's well known tourist destination. It's a perfect playground for leasure cyclists to ride the circle around the lake - on the bike path, it's 200 km with only a few hunded meters of elevation. So KLND, the first Bikepacking Organisation in Hungary, created a more interesting Balaton gravel loop with wonderful panoramas, endless vineyards and brilliant forest roads on the way. The alternative route is 370 km long and has 3700 meters of elevation gain. Without the crowd of tourists, full of experiences. This year, I took part in the race with my friends, and while I was busy on the pedals, I still found some moments to pull out my trusty Sony RX100vi camera to document the experience.
