The best piece of skin care advice I ever received? Stop sunbathing and tanning your face. ☀️ I was 22, it was 1997. At the time my skin care consisted of a cleanser and a moisturizer and I thought my routine was pretty advanced. lol. My esthetician friend at the time educated me on sun care and proper UV protection which also drove my inspiration to go to cosmetology school. Responsible sun care is not just about a broad spectrum SPF...Yes, properly wearing and reapplying a broad spectrum SPF is essential but there are several other aspects to sun care that matter as well.
