//soledad en su máximo esplendor// i finally booked my first solo trip since Seville in 2019 🇪🇸 Granted, the Big Island is just 55 minutes away, but it’s still great to get away by yourself and explore. forcing yourself to rely on u & only u! Being alone in ur thoughts on the long drives, listening to the same 4 songs on repeat bc u can, ordering a table for one. It’s not scary, it’s healing😌💕 What I thought would be scary was taking my tripod out in public and taking my own pics 😅😂 but it wasn’t scary & u realize people are gonna forget about u anyways. I had 2 moms compliment me & asked where I got my tripod, and I had a nice old man from Germany offer to take some for me (we chatted & he said Oktoberfest is not the real Germany lol) My first day was here at Punaluu Beach (Black Sand Beach) & it’s been on my bucket list forever. I’ve been in Oahu 6-7ish years & not once have I ever explored the other islands. So why not go alone ̄\_(ツ)_/ ̄ the black sand was unreal & lucky me even saw a turtle napping. Best first day🖤
