Tomato & plum salad with nori & sesame. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A love letter to all the tomatoes that served me well this summer. If they were to throw a party, invite some random friends from around the world, and have a damn good time, this would be the result. I guess that is the very magic of recipes from @ixta.belfrage and @ottolenghi’s book ‘Flavour’ - they’re unique (borderline strange at times), unpredictable, but always downright DELICIOUS. 🙌🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The beauty is in the dressing - a perfect balance of fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, orange zest, groundnut oil - and that salty, spicy, sesame topping. Though the flavours are bold, they are never overpowering. They actually enhance the sweetness of the tomatoes and plums, and create a glorious harmony that sings with every mouthful!
