Do you know Wattstax? Today marks the 50th anniversary of this incredible music festival and benefit concert held at the Coliseum. The event featured an amazing collection of Black musicians and luminaries including The Staple Singers, Jesse Jackson, Richard Pryor, Melvin Peebles, The Bar Kays, The Dramatics and Isaac Hayes.
