Last March we visited Paris for a project with our friends @kryzastyle and @richards.ears to film two improvisations between these extraordinary artists. While the project’s taking shape in post-production, we wanted to share this little sneak preview of how we captured this collaboration and told the story of Nicolas. And there’s a lot to tell! NICO is a performance and documentary short featuring dancer Nicolas Faubert and pianist Richard Sears. These two explosively generative artists began improvising together while in residence at the Cité International des Arts in Paris, during lockdown. Nicolas and Richard have a kinetic and angular sensibility that spans across their respective mediums. We look forward to sharing the full version soon!
