Universal Stella Nova Resort is one of three new hotels that opened to complement Universal Orlando’s NEW Epic Universe theme park. The other two are Terra Luna, which is Stella Nova’s sister resort, and the Helios Grand Hotel, which is directly connected to Epic Universe. The company that operates Universal Orlando’s Hotels is Lowe’s. Lowe’s subdivides each on-site hotel into three differing tiers based on how luxurious the accommodations are. Stella Nova is considered a Prime Value Hotel, which places it in the mid-tier. Below the Prime Value Tier is, Value, with the only difference being that the Prime Value Hotels offer a Hot Tub. The top Tier is call the Signature Series. The Signature Series Hotels offer complimentary Express Pass for patrons and host numerous table service restaurants on their hotel grounds. To celebrate reaching our 15,000 subscribers milestone we wanted to spend a weekend taking in the atmosphere of Halloween Horror Nights and figured a stay at a new Universal Orlando Resort made the most sense. With a weekday stay here listed at $135 per night we were pretty impressed by the offerings. For that price, not only did we get a pretty spacious room, but also an on-site gym, hot tub, pool, quick service restaurant, complementary transpiration to Universal’s Parks, early entry to select theme parks, and a special entrance for Halloween Horror Nights. We heard mixed reviews about Stella Nova and, to be honest, our stay at Universal Helios Grand wasn’t the best. With such a great price listed, we wanted to see ourselves exactly how this hotel firs against other Universal properties we’ve stayed at. After staying here, the only hotels we haven’t spent nights at on property are The Hard Rock Hotel and, this hotels sister resort, Terra Luna.
