#BOTD in 1916, actor and vocalist Martha Raye. She was awarded the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her volunteer efforts and service to the troops, the SAG Life Achievement Award in 1973, plus the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1993.
