I grow towards my interests, like a plant reaching for the sun. 🌿🌞⁠ ⁠ In our busy lives, we tend to get bogged down by our work, our responsibilities, the day-to-day of our lives, and forget about what brings us joy.⁠ ⁠ We’ve seen this a lot in the beauty industry, especially over the last two years. People often say things like “I used to love makeup, but I stopped wearing it because I didn’t see the point just to do video calls” – and that’s a totally understandable perspective. It makes sense, even – in the depths of hard times, it’s difficult to find joy.⁠ ⁠ This week’s affirmation reminds us to grow towards our interests – grow towards joy. It can be as simple as reading a book, or listening to a podcast, or going for a run, but it’s important to take the time to participate in your interests, and to do the things you love.⁠ ⁠ #affirmation
