Earlier this summer I spent half a month in New Mexico at Philmont, hiking a part of the Rocky Mountains! When we arrived at base camp, we got our route mapped out, picked up our backcountry meals, met our ranger Erin, and ate our last non dehydrated meals until after the trek.
