Had a little viewing party for the release of ✨Do Revenge✨ so naturally I had to pay homage to one of my favorite 90s teen movie heroines ❤️ God so much to unpack here - 1) I would have been absolutely obsessed with this movie as a teen 2) I always wanted to be in a movie like this when I was a teen 3) it’s the first time a PPS song has ever been in a movie and I can’t imagine a better one 🥹 4) Shame Reactions is @shelbodrumbo’s writing debut !!️ Shelby wrote the music years before we met and one day I toplined it and wrote the lyrics on whim. This song came so easy and secretly contains the line that captures the sentiment of Death of Cheerleader best “is there a way for me to kill the girl I wish I were / won’t let me be because I’ll never be enough for her”. It’s become one of my favorite songs and it’s so sentimental because I wrote it with my best friend!!!!!!!
