REPURPOSED ART Turn any thrifted canvas into new, just call me Bob Ross 👩‍🎨 What I used: • Thrifted canvas • “flexible” spackling • sand paper • Left over black and white paint To recreate this piece start off by giving your canvas a good wipe down with soapy water. Use spackling to create texture + ridges, I was only wanting horizontal so I kept it to one direction Once the Spackling is dry, I used left over black paint to cover the entire canvas. After I let that set, I sanded over the ridges to allow the white to peek through Final step was playing with watered down white paint to give it a wash effect.
