Filoli’s orchid collection numbers nearly 300 plants including fragrant necklace orchids, vibrant cattleyas, and bold vandas. Some plants from Filoli’s first owners, William and Agnes Bourn, still thrive in the historic Greenhouse, but the historic collection primarily includes plants from the Roth family, Filoli’s second owners. ⁠ ⁠ The picture above is a time capsule of orchids displayed in the 1980’s!
