Inspired by hot air balloons and the engineering of patterns and textiles that ascend into the sky, collection 23 is a narrative rising out of the deepest depths of the ocean and escaping into the sky. Focusing on impermanence, opposite forces of the natural and the manufactured manifest in repetitive, meditative textures of dots - a futile effort to control the ephemera of nature with technology.
