🗣 Ritual made its congressional debut. 🗣 In a letter to the Senate, our Founder + CEO, Kat, expressed support and guidance on how companies can do better. “Access to high quality supplements should be available to all and smart policy solutions can help democratize access.” The Senate passed a bill that would take small, but meaningful steps to require the supplement industry to have basic information about their ingredient suppliers on hand (shockingly not a common practice). It goes on to address health claims to help reduce misleading consumers. The vitamin industry has a long way to go, but these basic steps are better than 30 more years of inaction. Ritual’s commitment to ingredient traceability takes these basic principles several steps further, sharing our ingredient supplier names and final place of manufacturing on our website.
