Fun fact: I hate doing blow outs so much, I almost switched my career to become a barber in 2017. Why? Men’s hair is fun because Fading feels like playing connecting the dots. The pressure to make it blend is a challenge I really enjoy. And because I HATE DOING BLOW OUTS SO MUCH- I almost flipped the switch. I still think about it from time to time. If I put all my eggs into it, I think I’d be pretty damn good. But Im greedy and I love my clients too much to switch now 💇🏻‍♀️😬 A memory popped up today. This was me 5 years ago, on this exact date (February 28) in Canada with master Barber @mattyconrad. I won a men’s hair competition and they flew me out on an all expense paid trip. I felt really cool tbh 😎 The styling that won that competition is hung up in our salon wall. Wish I had a better photo to show you of our salon. Next time 😋 I sit back today and I’m proud of the journey I’ve taken. Im in my pajamas at this moment but grand adventures await. Im sure of it. I don’t know what lies ahead but I’m looking forward to finding out. Thank you all for being part of any of it.
