When I think about how to describe the feeling I’m after with my work, I think of watching an object drop deeper and deeper into water. Like taking a penny, looking from above and dropping it into the water and watching it sink down and right there just below the surface of the water where the light is dancing around, you see the edges the penny here and there as it fades into darkness... Felt from underneath felt falling down felt at the edges ... Open Studio at @baxarts was deeply felt for me in the ways I’m working to grow myself inside my work.
