I am on Saturday Kitchen @saturday.kitchen tomorrow. That was a long break, but I now feel strong enough to come on, cook, talk and not burst into tears. 🤞🏽 I know that a lot of Ukrainians no longer celebrate Christmas on 6/7 of January - as an act of defiance. Most of us choose to swap to the Gregorian calendar and celebrate with the rest of the world in December. But...I figured there will be those who want to continue and what better excuse for me to wear an ebroidered Ukrainian blouse and make @seldonenko incredible pumpkin and orange kolach. Please do watch, I will be nervous but knowing that so many of you are watching and cheering will give me strength and energy. To those who choose to celebrate tonight - happy Christmas eve. For us - it’s Wilfred’s third birthday today, I can’t believe he is already three. I am an equal amount of nervous, energetic, strong and vulnerable today. ALL the feelings, but full of love and I hope it shows tomorrow on live teli. Hoping my niece Asya will wake up for 5:20am set off and will cheer for me from the studio.
