Today marks our last vendor highlight for #HispanicHeritageMonth and we’re checking out the delicious @petiscobrazuca, which is Portuguese slang for Brazilian snacks. Petisco Brazuca was founded by Vanessa Oliveira and Ricardo Rosa who moved to New York from Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2012. Petisco Brazuca is very aptly named because they’re known for their delicious coxinha croquettes which are traditional Brazilian street snacks of chicken and cheese covered in dough, battered, and fried. The idea came when there was a demand for their coxinha after they made some for a friend's dinner party. In 2018, they joined @smorgasburg where they now serve bite-sized versions in different flavors, even a dulce de leche. The couple’s passion and drive to share the delicious and rich Brazilian culture via street snacks is what makes these coxinhas so delicious. We’ve enjoyed sharing these real New Yorkers' real stories of their dreams that they turned into delicious food realities. After today (from 11am – 6pm), there are only two more Fridays to come show them your support before the end of the 2022 Smorgasburg season. #WorldTradeCenter #DowntownEats #DowntownNYC #SmorgasburgWTC
