I was extremely excited when I found out they were casting a younger version of Dallas that I’d actually get to interact with. And this kid definitely didn’t disappoint, whether it was playing with, feeding and “watering” a pet rock he found, trying to get me to pet the snake they wrangled or switching me from “Good” Quentin to “Evil” Quentin and back he reminded me to not take the job so seriously and remember this is supposed to be fun. On a personal note the thought that I had a tiny part in helping a young black kid pursue his dreams really meant everything to me, and now I just wish I could work as much as he does!
