Not long now until @centurionrunning SDW100 and I couldn’t been more excited! These past few months have flown by and I’ve seriously enjoyed the training. Switching chatty club runs for solo miles on the downs was often challenging but it needed to be done. I still managed to share the odd mile or two with friends, whether that was on the trails or pounding Pompey’s pavement. I still can’t believe how much the running community has grown here and this makes me happy 🫶 The hay was in the barn a while ago, or it at least felt that way, so my two week taper has been a big of a drag. But I needed it. I’ve never been so prepared to race with multiple spreadsheets, crew and pacer packs, and organised kit boxes - I may have forgotten the water oops! I have the best crew and I can’t wait to see them tomorrow and share this special day with them. I just need the weather/trail gods to play ball 🙏 a lot can happen over 100 miles. Good luck to everyone running this weekend, I’m really looking forward to being on course with so many friends.
