This is bittersweet. But over this past week I went on a voyage down south to end the final tour of my ambassadorship. And Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia did NOT disappoint! . Shouts to kids and faculty at Canton High School, in Canton, MS, @bmmstigers in Bay Minette, Alabama, and Early County Middle School, in Blakely, GA. I’ve never been more inspired. . There’s much more I want to say and perhaps I will once I gather my thoughts. Plus there are so many more incredible photos. I’lll get to it all. For now, I think I’m going to rest. And smile. Three years as the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature is coming to an end. And I’m proud of what we’ve done. I hope the elders are proud of me. I hope my colleagues and comrades are proud. Most importantly I hope the kids know how proud I am of them. What a time.
