There is pressure- spoken, unspoken, imagined, obvious- that suggests any feeling about pregnancy other than excitement is synonymous with ingratitude. ⚪️ This month on @mother.ly I shared about ambivalence in my pregnancy- despite it being completely intentional and wished for. The roller coaster of anticipatory anxiety, excitement, dread, insecurity, joy- it’s enough to leave anyone feeling conflicted.
