As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the last six months, having ventured into this crazy and exciting world of content creation. In July this year, I threw everything I had at this business to get it off the ground — spending my evenings and weekends building a website, workflow, enquiry form, working on my branding, and building connections within the industry to start getting my name out there. It hasn’t all been a walk in the park. At times, I’ve burnt myself out trying to juggle it all — weekend weddings, admin, and the slow but steady journey of learning about all things tax and self-assessment. But it’s all been a learning curve, and I’m feeling more confident, optimistic, and established heading into 2026. I know where I want this business to go and what I want to achieve over the next 12 months, and I’m so grateful to the people within the industry who have taken the time to share their learnings with me — and even recommend me.
