Happy Black History month! ✊🏾⁣ ⁣ One of my favorite ways to incorporate teaching in our day to day is by reading books to Syre. #ad⁣ ⁣ When I was in the process of building my baby registry, I made it a point to select more books rather than toys because of all of the benefits that come from reading to a child at an early age. ⁣ ⁣ Reading to a child, even starting at birth, is fundamental for communication, listening and memory skills, building on vocabulary and basic numbers, letters and shapes, and most importantly learning about the world around us.⁣ ⁣ With February being Black History Month, I wanted to specifically highlight a few of our current inclusive bookshelf favorites.
