Completed in November 2023, @winfieldschocolatebar Rice Village is the second location we designed with the Winfields Team following the River Oaks location. We worked within the established language of color and materiality that we established for the brand in previously designed locations, this location provided tons of natural light to work with through a full glazed north wall and high ceilings. With a much larger shell space to work with we were able to use height and depth to more effectively layer the program elements of retail shelving, display island, bar counter, back bar and cafe. We also brought in some a few new colors and materials to this specific location, all of which helped to create a unique and site-contextual addition to the brand which still anchored into the recognizable characteristics present in all of their locations /// . . . . #interiors #interiordesign #cafedesign
