My two pregnancies have been completely opposite experiences. With Otto I was anxious, on bed rest, exhausted 24/7, and generally in a dark place. This time around I’ve had so much more energy, this baby feels much easier to carry and time is flying. I am busier than ever and I have days were I’m completely shattered but overall so grateful to be enjoying this pregnancy in ways I did not previously. I believe the experiences have been different physically and hormonally and therefore emotionally. 🤰🏽 I also learned a few lessons from the first time around. I think investing in a few pieces of clothing that make me feel human is important. Some people can get by without maternity wear but I need to feel comfortable and cozy - and all of the pieces will be crucial postpartum too. For pretty pieces, I love @franceshartnyc, for comfort I live in @beyondyoga Maternity Joggers, @bellybandit maternity bump support leggings and @babymoriofficial mama collection pajamas. (Some- not all- of these items were initially gifted but I also personally purchased more as well- for full transparency). 🤰🏽 My point isn’t to convince you to buy something but it is to convince you to take the time to find the little pleasures the that make you physically comfortable because in comparing these experiences, I can see now how much all the little comforts matter. 🤰🏽 What made you feel more like yourself in pregnancy?
