black cocoa cake with oreo whipped cream!!✨🖤🍰 Recipe: - 1/2 cup black cocoa powder (46 grams) - 3 1/2 oz dark chocolate chips (100 grams) - 1 1/4 cups brown sugar (250 grams) - 1 tsp salt - 3/4 cup water, boiling hot (210 grams) - 1/2 cup vegetable oil (124 grams) - 1 3/4 tbsp sour cream (24 grams) - 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (155 grams) - 1 3/4 tsp baking powder - 2 large egg yolks - 3 large eggs Directions: - Preheat your oven to 350°F then prepare your cake pan with parchment paper! - In a large bowl, add in the black cocoa powder, dark chocolate chips, brown sugar, salt, and boiling hot water then whisk together until thoroughly combined! - Then set aside your bowl for at least 5 minutes for the chocolate flavor to deepen and bloom! - Whisk in the vegetable oil and sour cream to the bowl of chocolate until fully combined! - Add in the all-purpose flour and baking powder and fold together until no traces of flour remain. - Finally whisk in the egg yolks and eggs until the batter is fully fixed together and velvety black! - Add the batter into the prepared cake pans and bake for 24-30 minutes or until fully cooked! - Let it completely cool, then top with any whipped cream or frosting then cut and serve!! and of course enjoy!!
