On Saturday February 17 (2024) at 3:35pm, my grandmother passed away, it was unexpected as she was healthier than ever, she only fell we all thought. The message I’m taking out of this situation is that you should always say I love you because I didn’t get to (I love you grandma). My grandma supported me in everything, she was at every baton competition, dance performance, every show I was in. And I always came to her with crazy costume ideas and she always brought them to life, her latest being my purple ruffled coat for Sadie’s, she was working on it for multiple hours a day until Saturday morning when she finished it only hours before her accident. I love my grand and I would do anything to have one last conversation with her. She really was one of the most amazing people ever, she touched and changed the lives of everyone she new, patient or friend, it is with a heavy heart and a broken mind that I write about her in past tense but I know she’s up in heaven getting the rest she very much needs and deserves. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA, I’ll see you someday up in heaven.
