HERE COMES THE FLOOD - Show design for @craig__green AW22 Production & Communication by @karlaotto Music @frederic_sanchez Light @lightlab.studio - Questioning the repulsive and protective nature of materials, we turned flood barrier systems as giant bouncy seating benches. The tubes are both filled with air and water to combine flexibility, stability, strength and lightness into a single element. They are not only visually pleasing but also extremely satisfying to feel and experience. Each time someone sits, its own body weight pressure balances the global water level inside the tube, somehow re-connecting everybody along the line. These almost infinite linear elements were radically recontextualized from their original purpose, simultaneously framing the space and controlling the flow of guests and models.
