#thesariseries continues..............In today's evolved world, we recognize the historical issue of cultural appropriation within fashion. As a South Asian Indian myself, I'm motivated to foster cross-cultural understanding by showcasing the versatile beauty of the saree, a garment deeply rooted in heritage and tradition. Through my styling, I aim to dissolve cultural barriers and promote appreciation among all individuals. The photoshoot, featured in @vogueindia , aimed to challenge perceptions and highlight the sari as a contemporary, ever-evolving expression of culture. Inspired by the enlightening @thesariseries films on YouTube, I explored modern interpretations and delved into the rich textile heritage. This journey led me to @borderandfall and rawmango, who generously provided these exquisite saris.
