HOW I STARTED BRIDAL MODELING! I’ve been getting so many dms and questions about how I started so here it is.... you wouldn’t believe it but I used to be very camera shy. It wasn’t until college when I started posing for a couple friends who wanted to practice photography that I became more comfortable in front of a camera. I made it up while I was going and spent a lot of time looking up poses on Pinterest and practicing them in front of my mirror at home. I posted those photos on my instagram and used model hashtags and that’s how @alicialuciaphotos found me! She asked me to model for her styled shoot while she visited Chicago which is where I met @akristinbridal. During that shoot I fell in love with bridal modeling (specifically Alyssa’s gowns!!) and began planning photo shoots constantly. You read that right, I planned (and still do) nearly all my photo shoots. I loved the planning process and collaborating with other local chicago wedding vendors. I’ve actually met some of my closest friends through these photo shoots.
