I’ve been walking past this no-frills West African spot for last several years and I finally walked in last night! I tried the Ghanaian fufu made with cassava with turkey soup, stewed okra, and peanut or groundnut soup. B & B Restaurant (📍165 West 26th St New York, NY) features a steam table that carries a bunch of different food. A lot of the customers are taxi drivers looking for a quick meal in NYC. I learned that Ghanian fufu s stickier and looser than fufu you might find from other West African countries. It’s often even directly placed into the soup or stew before being eaten which I wish I had done. I’m excited to try more West African food in the future (and also trying more fufu). 🎥: @NYC Got Games #westafrican #westafricanfood #nycfood #newyorkcityfood #africanfood #nycfoodie #foodvlog #foodstories #foodvlog #ghana #ghanaianfood #ghanaian #fufu #peanutsoup #groundnutsoup
