This is a fresh British spring-summer breeze brought to you in liaison with @beggxco. Very passionate to tell a new story about the modern Fisherman (aka me) that keeps alive the traditional code of appreciating the activity as well as the aesthetic. This collaboration celebrates a meeting of inner values beginning to shine from the inside out. Observing the locals in Broadstairs a little more you can clearly tell that there is a significant appreciation for the art of resting, travelling and making. Inspired by many references in films and movies, the fantastic piece “The Talented Mr Ripley” by Anthony Minghella endowed plenty of visual guidance in my work. There is so much to take from - the colours, the sounds and in this instance - the styling. When Begg X Co got in touch with the intention to create a story around “an activity” I immediately sensed the urge to create a story around the different types emotions - longing, reminiscing, dreaming - you feel whilst strolling across the British seaside.
