At 4 months, your baby is likely working on a variety of fine and gross motor skills, like bringing their hands to their midline (the center of their body) and batting things.👐 Until they gain enough motor control to reach out and grasp an object, involuntary reflexes will remain their primary way of gathering information. You can help them explore, discover, and learn by placing them close to an interesting object or plaything. Try hanging the Sensory Strands on The Play Gym, for example, and laying your baby directly below them, like @Sarah Serafini did with her baby. 💞 With this setup, it’s easy for them to touch the strands when they move their feet and bat their arms, making “accidental discoveries.” To shop The Lovevery Play Gym, click the link in our bio! #SensoryExploration #LearningThroughPlay #LoveveryBaby
