Happy birthday to the love of my life @needshortusername !! 😘🎉 We celebrated last night at @absteaksf because we’re jetting off somewhere on a redeye tonight ✈️ (the only person I’m willing to take a redeye in economy for) Food was good but we were miffed that they charged $6 for an extra serving of ssam, even when we paid $175 for the premium combo. Which made us wonder if we could’ve brought our own head of lettuce (BYOL, why not?) 🥬 Which led us to remember how back in our college days, there was this restaurant near campus that did $5 burgers on Mondays, but only for a hamburger with no cheese, so Yufei would bring his own cheese (but not even a Kraft single but a little packet of shredded cheese wrapped in Saran Wrap) and sneakily add it to his burger 🤣 Anyways, I guess the point of the story is, I’m so glad to have someone who shares so much of my life history, and with whom I get to look back on random small memories and laugh together ❤️ I love you so much
