Wow, I can’t believe my step down for Miss Charlie’s is tomorrow. I have so many emotions going through me right now. @charlies_chicagobar has treated me with so much respect and kindness and has showed me how I should’ve been treated all along. I am so proud of my culture and where I come from, this bar has welcomed me and everything that represents me with open arms. Miss Charlie’s truly became the reason why I discovered how much I belonged in a city like this. Somewhere full of opportunities and diversity. Somewhere where the show posters are full of all kinds of people and somewhere that appreciated my art. Because of this pageant, not only did I move here but I became a house queen after only moving here a couple months. They not only pay me my worth, but uplift me as an artist and keep me safe.
