Just a few behind the scenes shots of the amazing work that is happening here in Egypt on the spiritual retreat I’m co-hosting with @awakeningthedivine & @ishadai888. We are waking up between 3-4am each morning to get to the temples for private visits before the waves of tourists come at 7am. Having the sacred spaces all to ourselves, in the dark, in complete silence is a mesmerizing privilege and so much more powerful for the meditation and activation work we are doing. We’re also able to gain access into the Holy of Holies sanctuaries in each site, the tiny power center chambers once reserved only for ancient high priests/esses & the pharaohs. We started in Aswan and are making our way down the Nile heading north, in the exact same way our kundalini flows in our own inner energy rivers from root to crown. Each temple works on a different chakra and here we are in the middle of our mucky first three, having visited both the old Isis temple (where in a stroke of luck, the water was so low we could actually get off the boat and set foot on the ancient sacred ground), new Isis temple (where the original was moved after flooding), Elephantine island, Kom Ombo and Edfu. The start of the trip is always the trickiest. It kicks up a ton of dust and you’re sitting there with a 50 pound sack of your own shadow in your lap. Some people are experiencing physical pain, some emotional trauma, some energetic and spiritual. It’s all normal and it’s all the reason why we’re here: to clear that crap so we can get deeper into the heart and finally shoot out of our crowns by the time we make it up to the GP (great pyramid!). Along the way we are doing integration workshops, qi gong, journaling and even jumping in the Nile and being our playful selves. So grateful to each person who chose to come with us on this very special trip. You are all spiritual badasses🙏🏻😇!!️
