EXHIBITION: INFINITY TO THE POWER OF WOMEN Dr Kesaveloo Goonaruthnum Naidoo was a feminist, activist and intellectual born in 1906 in Durban. She grew up in Grey Street, with three brothers and three sisters. On 8 March 1928, she left to study medicine at Edinburgh University in Scotland because there was no medical school open to Indian women in South Africa.
