The journey to silver may seem long, but it's worth every minute. I was attached to my dark brown dyed hair, scared to show my roots and raced to cover them up every time they began to peek through. If I'd waited just a bit "too long," I'd be subjected to comments from friends and coworkers. But that hair color wasn't even mine. And now, it's no longer me. My attitude toward my gray hair has certainly changed, but more importantly has my view of myself. I'm joyfully letting my silver shine, because this is part of who I now am. She's happy.
