Head Automatica's first album, Decadence, debuted the week I moved into my college dorm. I know that because there was a program called MyTunes that let anyone on the same local area network share music, and EVERYONE in the dorm was talking about it. The entire album served as the start of college soundtrack for many of us. When Popaganda released in 2006, my roommate was on the Warner Records street team and filled our apartment with shirts, posters, CDs, and everything you could imagine to promote the album. Until a couple of weeks ago, I thought that was as full circle of a moment as I would ever have with Head Automatica. I have dreamed of booking them for YEARS, counting the days until they finally announced that they were playing shows again. Days turned into weeks, months, and years.
