Rub-a-dub-dub! This bathroom, located in the pitch of a 300-year-old Connecticut colonial house, was most definitely not original to 1730. “We learned through the partial renovation of the space that, at some point in the home’s history, there had been a fire because the rafters were charred. So I thought it would be poetic to put this charred mushroom wood from the Hudson Company on the ceiling,” says New York–based interior designer Ryan Lawson (@ryanclawson). The wall tiles and the marble hand-chipped mosaic floor, as well as the sink, toilet, and faucet, are all from @wtrwrks. The circa 1970s Maison Jansen flush-mount light fixture was a @1stdibs find, and the pair of vintage Benedini Associati sconces are from @studiogiancarlovalle. Click the link in bio for the full tour.
