As part of the exhibition Carlos Motta: Your Monsters, Our Idols @wexarts I’ll be premiering a multi-channel sound work titled The (Columbus) Assembly. The project asks what would be stake in changing the name of Columbus, Ohio, the largest city in the world named after Christopher Columbus.
